Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 1, 2026

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how DeskDrop ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares personal information in connection with our website and gifting services. Questions can be sent to hello@thedeskdrop.com.

2. Information we collect

Contact and lead information you submit through our forms (such as name, email, phone, and company). Order information when you purchase a pilot (such as company, contact details, campaign notes, and the logo you upload). Recipient information you provide so we can ship gifts (such as recipient names and shipping addresses). Payment is handled by Stripe; we receive confirmation and limited details but not your full card number. We also collect basic usage and device analytics when you visit the site.

3. How we use information

To respond to inquiries and provide samples; to process and fulfill pilot orders and gift shipments; to design and print your branded materials; to operate, secure, and improve the Service and our site; to send service-related communications; and to comply with legal obligations.

4. Recipient data

When you provide recipient details, you act as the controller of that data and we process it on your behalf solely to ship and track the gifts you direct. Recipient-facing links (such as a "pick your gift" link) are designed to show only a first name, not full contact details. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to share recipient information with us.

5. Service providers (subprocessors)

We share information with vendors that help us run the Service, under appropriate confidentiality and data-processing terms, including: Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email), Airtable (order and lead records), Vercel (hosting, file storage, and analytics), and shipping/production partners needed to fulfill orders. We do not sell personal information.

6. Cookies and analytics

We use privacy-conscious, aggregate analytics to understand site usage and performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings. We do not use the site to build advertising profiles.

7. Data retention and security

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service, meet legal and accounting requirements, and resolve disputes, then delete or anonymize it. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, or to ask us to remove a recipient’s information, email hello@thedeskdrop.com and we will respond as required by applicable law.

9. Changes and contact

We may update this Policy from time to time; the date below reflects the latest version. Questions or requests: hello@thedeskdrop.com.
